no longer

no longer, do i recall –

your middle name, the

day you were born,

a name your mother

calls after you; in penalty

for something wrong you

might have done. my

recollection of our

exchanged dialogues, have

lost their ferocity; i pick

at their scattered bits,

disposed into vacant

crevices. for time has

made mellow, these

forms – i once latched

unto with ferocious

stealth; disallowing it’s

slippage; through

the gaps between my

fingers.
